Awards, Awards, Awards: We’re on a roll!

We’re on a roll! Happy to announce that having scooped 4 trophies already this year for ‘Best Gala Dinner Venue’, ‘Best Marketing Manager’, ‘Highly Commended Press Conference Venue’ and ‘Best Conference Venue’ at the Prestigious Star Awards and Conference Awards, we’ve now also been shortlisted for two London Venue Awards: ‘Best Customer Service’ and ‘Best Event Venue’, and a London Catering Award for ‘Best In-house Venue Caterer’ with winners announced in October!

The Game of Thrones!

Are you watching it? I caved and managed to watch all 72 episodes within 3 weeks just so I could join my fellow colleagues in watching the finale with pizza and beers. With the final episode of the entire series coming to an epic end this Monday, it all seems very eerie with our current government situation don’t you think? Even last night I attended the AGM for the Westminster Venue Collection which we have been part of for at least 8 years (8 seasons in the show – see I’m finding a connection everywhere), anyways, I couldn’t help but wonder… are we all playing a role in our own Game of Thrones? Who’s venue (house) is doing better than who? And are we all trying to reach the ultimate goal of sitting on the throne of Westminster’s best venue? Just got me thinking that’s all! What Throne are you racing for?
