We recently held a great London & Partners Post IMEX FAM Trip where 9 US based clients came to One Great George Street in Westminster, London straight from the IMEX exhibition in Frankfurt. The two day London trip was arranged by London & Partners and it kicked off with us at One Great George Street as you can see from a few photos I took below…
Ever met a potential new client and then shared a dance floor with them hours later – doing the floss and a little bit of twist? Well at the BNC Forum that’s exactly what happened. I’m back from my maternity break and my first week at work ended with a knees up at the BNC Forum. Honestly I felt like I was with a bunch of old friends; we connected on a level that wasn’t the usual ‘corporate norm’. The BNC allows you to meet new clients whom you can form long-lasting friendly relations with and that’s something very unique. Would you believe me if I said we’re now in a Whatsapp group sharing book recommendations? Well, it’s true and I honestly think that could only happen with a rare few like those I was lucky to meet with last week at the Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa.
I attended the MIA Connect Agent day at the lovely DoubleTree Hilton Chester where I had the opportunity to represent One Great George Street while meeting venues and agents from across the country. The day was designed to facilitate best working practices with our existing partners, as well as building new relationships.
The world urgently needs to take action on climate change and engineers have a vital role to play in delivering clean water, sustainable energy and connectivity. A five-day conference event incorporating 70 conferences and two high profile gala dinners was designed to address these issues. The event was successfully used as a platform to identify practical ways to fund, deliver and streamline projects, thus improving the lives of millions of people. ICE and WFEO brought together thousands of engineers from around the world to One Great George Street, London to share ideas of how to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It was part of the ICE’s 200 bicentenary programme, the 50th anniversary of WFEO and the UK Government’s Year of Engineering. It would not have been possible without the exceptional teamwork and customer service demonstrated across all levels of the venue’s organisation.
There’s nothing wrong with biscuits and cookies, but as is often the case at this time of year most people had their fill at Christmas! To kick-start the New Year we’ve upgraded our refreshments within the Day Delegate Rate (DDR) packages we offer to include bowls of fruit, Eat Natural bars and infused mineral water. Not ready to say no to your sweet tooth – fear not; the biscuits and cookies will be there too!
