Has the events industry got its groove back?

So the new year is in full swing, winter has frozen our rates from last year and it looks like the events industry has got its groove back! I love this month; although some will be suffering from food comas and attempting ‘dry January’, this time of the year always fills me with hope and the opportunity for fresh starts.

It’s already been such a busy month in our diary starting with the afternoon tea our Marketing & PR Manager Katie McCarthy and I hosted in one of our four State Rooms, the Brunel Room, with the lovely ladies from London & Partners (above). As the official promotional company for London which is currently pushing out the campaign ‘London is open’ we will be working closely with them to ensure our multi-award-winning Westminster venue is at the forefront of both our domestic and international clients.

We hope they enjoyed sampling fare from London’s recently crowned ‘Best Private Dining Venue’ following our award win at the London Venue Awards as much as we did! Our new Catering Menu is now out so do take a look and let us know what you think.

Having also scooped ‘Best Film Location Venue’ at the Prestigious Star Awards (above) and played host to many feature films and series in 2016, it was also great to see so many faces at Film London’s first networking event of the year held in our Great Hall and sponsored by Moneypenny (below).

I’ve also just come back from the Buyers Network Club (BNC) Forum event in Lisbon and I’m super pleased we signed up as it was a brilliant opportunity to build relationships with some very key clients.
