To me, a rich, creamy cheese along with seasonal pumpkin and hearty pasta is the perfect way to usher in the festive season and usher out the cold. With this in mind, I’d choose the above dish from our Christmas Menu this year.

Foundstone, Berton Vineyards, Chardonnay, 2012 Australia

This unoaked chardonnay offers lime, melon and lifted green apple aromas which give way to a clean, crisp palate with flavours of lime softened by honey dew melon which continues to a long and zesty finish. In perfect balance with the sweetness of the pumpkin and the zinginess of the goat’s cheese. A wonderful festive combination!

Both these menu items are available in our Brasserie One Restaurant from 23rd November until 23rd December 2015 – but with our central London venue being perfect for smaller team lunches in the run up to Christmas we’re nearly sold out, so book soon to avoid disappointment.
